Evaluation and Hiring

Qualifications and Responsibilities All Our Drivers Possess

Driver Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older
Valid Class A CDL drivers license
At least two consecutive years of verifiable driving experience
Extensive knowledge of D.O.T. CDL driving rules and regulations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
No more than two moving violations in the past three years in any type of vehicle
No D.O.T. defined accidents in the last three years in any type of vehicle
No D.W.I. or D.U.I. convictions in the past seven years
A negative, pre-employment D.O.T. regulated drug screen result
A current, Driver Not Prohibited status, on the FMCSA D&A Clearinghouse.

Driver Responsibilities:

Plan routes and provide timely and undamaged deliveries for our clients in an efficient, safe and courteous manner.
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving and retain fuel receipts
Comply with D.O.T. CDL truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as client policies and procedures
Report defects, accidents, or violations
